Trade mark registration

To be an importer of pharmaceuticals, the importer must register the trade mark with with the Trade Mark Registry. This allows him to represent the company's brand in Nigeria. To register you can contact an agent. If you want to obtain it without any assistance, there are 10 steps: Obtain Remita retrieval reference, Pay the trademark application fee, Submit application, Obtain acknowledgment form, Obtain acceptance letter, Obtain Remita Retrieval Reference, Pay trademark certificate fee, Submit application, Obtain trademark certificate, and Obtain Remita retrieval reference.

NAFDAC product registration

As a means of ensuring the standards and quality of any imported pharmaceutical product, the importer is expected to register the product with the National Agency for food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
